Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969 the Soft Pad Group is one of the most outstanding designs of the 20th century, based on the original Aluminium chair but with stitched leather upholstery contrasting the slim metal profile, this creates a very clean and interesting design. The Soft Pad Group is made to a consistently high quality and now offers a 30-year manufacturers guarantee. The Soft Pad is an easy swivel chair with high backrest and adjustable back tilt. Upholstered with five stitched-on cushions in leather. Die-cast aluminium clamping brackets, frame and base, either polished or chromed. The leather is available in a host of wonderful colours; Nero, Asphalt, Chocolate, Marron, Red, Sand and Snow, please view the swatch for reference.
